Meet Chris Whiteman, a NAR member extraordinaire born and bred in the heart of Salem, Utah. With a passion for the Beehive State that runs deeper than a Great Salt Lake sunset, he’s your go-to guide for all things Utah—whether it’s navigating the housing market, exploring the great outdoors, or knowing the best local spot for a fry sauce fix.

For 21 years, Chris has been happily married to his better half, Suzy, who keeps him grounded while he dreams up new adventures. When he’s not coaching his sons’ sports teams (his proudest gig), you’ll find him tearing up the slopes on a snowmobile, kicking up dust on a dirt bike, or swinging for the fences in old-man softball. Hunting? Yep, he’s got that covered too.

With 19 years of rental property ownership under his belt and an active general contractor license, Chris brings a builder’s eye and an investor’s savvy to every deal. In 2019, he designed, contracted, and physically built his family’s dream home in Salem—a masterpiece that’s equal parts sweat, love, and a whole lot of grit. Oh, and did we mention he’s started three successful businesses from scratch, all debt-free? This guy’s entrepreneurial spirit is as Utah as a Jell-O salad at a potluck.
